Intestacy Rules

The U.S. Will Registry

The U.S. Will Registry was founded in 1997 to fill an important gap to provide families and other Will beneficiaries with a means to find lost Wills and estate planning documents of those who have passed away.

Public Record Reports

A Public Record People Search can provide valuable insights into an individual's background and history. It can include information such as driving records, arrest records, citations, financial court records, as well as details about email addresses, phone numbers, and home addresses. Additionally, it may reveal social media profiles, licenses, and connections to relatives and associates, among other relevant data.

Family Seearch

Probate is the legal process distributing real estate (property) and personal estate (possessions) to a person's heirs. Testate is the term used when a will existed. Intestate means there was no will, and the court distributes the estate. Other documents may be found in the full probate packet. Probate records are available for only about 10% of families.

Washington State Bar Association

The Washington State Bar Association operates under the delegated authority of the Washington Supreme Court and exercises a governmental function authorized by the Washington Supreme Court to license and regulate the state's more than 40,000 legal professionals, including lawyers, limited practice officers, and limited license legal technicians. The WSBA both regulates legal professionals under the authority of the Court and serves its members as a professional organization — all without public funding.
